     Sepertinya tidak banyak hal yang dapat saya Interpretasikan dari lirik lagu SOAD yang satu ini. Karena liriknya sendiri tidak mengesankan ambiguitas, pesannya cukup jelas dan tidak absurb.
    Secara garis besar lirik lagu ini adalah tentang bahaya perang. Bagaimana manusia secara sadar sedang merencanakan kiamatnya sendiri. Apabila perang nuklir benar-benar terjadi maka debu dari hasil ledakan nuklir cukup untuk menghalangi sinar matahari di seluruh dunia. Hal ini akan menyebabkan tumbuhan berhenti berfotosintesa, hewan-hewan mati dan tentu saja manusia. Manusia yang tersisa akan mati lemas.
    Manusia telah memiliki lebih dari cukup senjata berhulu ledak nuklir untuk mampu menimbulkan kiamat. Tercatat Amerika memiliki 5.735 hulu ledak aktif dari total 9.960 dan Rusia memiliki 5.830 hulu ledak aktif dari total 16.000. Angka-angka tersebut belum termasuk yang dimiliki oleh negara-negara laijn seperti Inggris, Perancis, China, Bosnia dan Herzegovina, Korut, Israel, India dan Pakistan.

     Kemana kamu berharap kami pergi ketika bom jatuh? Ini adalah sebuah pertanyaan paling sederhana dalam perang, tapi mengandung makna yang begitu dalam. Tidakkah kita menyadari bahwa bahaya perang nuklir tidak memihak pada siapa pun. Seluruh peradaban manusia akan berakhir dan hilang seperti tidak pernah ada.
     Tuhan selalu memberi kita pilihan tetapi kita memilih kehancuran (Mahdi)
